-Rules and FAQ-

-If the join button above isn't working for you, just send a note saying that you're from MA and would like to join. We'll send you an invite. :meow:
-Note: You must be from Massachusetts, USA to join. Thank you.
-PLEASE, you DO NOT have to state where exactly in MA you're from. Actually, PLEASE DON'T. This is for your own online safety.

:bulletyellow:Submitting Art:bulletyellow:
-Must be of decent quality. No rough sketches, blurry photos, or anything that is not quality. We have to see that real effort is put into your art.
-Any type of art is fine, whether it be original, fan, photography, digital, traditional, etc. Just submit to the right folder^^.
-Art submitted to the gallery does not have to be MA related. We want to show the artistic talent of MA, not just the state itself.

I'm an art professor, and I would like to share with you the publication of my new book, "Learn, Create, and Teach: A Guide to Building a Creative Life." This book delivers succinct, practical, and candid advice that addresses both common concerns in the creative path and the challenges an artist faces in the real world.

What people are saying about the book:

"…a great collection of key lessons that will help anyone become more successful in life and their chosen profession."

"...A definite must-have for any prospective or on-coming art students curious about what to expect, the practical advice provided here ultimately pertains to anyone at any level in a creative career."

“The wisdom in this book would take art students and new artists years to accumulate…”

This opportunity is open to anyone, but may be especially attractive to artists in the central MA / Worcester area:

• We will send you confirmation that your application was received via e-mail within one week of receipt. Please pay your fee in full at the time of application.
• All arts / crafts for sale should be sold by the artist/or designee. More than one artist may share a table as long as all artists submit individual applications and are in attendance at some point during the day.
• Sorry, all items must be original and, due to copyright issues, cannot be licensed or trademarked to anyone other than the artist (for example, NFL logos, Disney characters, etc.)
• The BridgeFest reserves the right to return any applications if the art/craft is deemed inappropriate. Please keep in mind that the BridgeFest is a community-based, child and family friendly event.

• Sorry, electricity is not available
• Limited volunteers will be available to assist artists in carrying their wares to their spaces on the day of the event. Please plan to be at your space for the duration of the fair, however, volunteers will also be available to provide short food/bathroom breaks.

Might make this into a blog depending on information, but does anyone know how to get a press pass for concerts? Found out recently for race tracks, all you have to do is ask.
